Jason Mann is an assistant teaching professional at The Pakuranga Golf and Country Club. Jason has been involved in golf for over 15 years, through that time he has gained vast knowledge of the game both as a player and now a coach. Jason has represented New Zealand and Auckland in the amateur ranks. Jason’s claims to fame is he has beaten Danny Lee twice in match play and played alongside Rickie Fowler at the NEC Master of the Amateur’s at the Yarra Yarra Golf Club in Melbourne in 2009.
Jason’s playing days are well behind him, he now has a passion to give back and teach golfers how to get the best out of their game. His way of coaching is super simple, delivery of sessions in quality rather than quantity, making learning and improvement fun but challenging at the same time. Jason’s real passion is the short game. He believes that too many golfers want to hit it further and hit a 2-yard draw when they could reduce their handicap significantly if they worked and practiced more on their short game.
Jason hopes to work with you in the future on improving your scores and help you enjoy this great game we call golf.

Short Game Fundamentals – Elite Mastery
Jason’s short game sessions cover all things putting, chipping, pitching and bunkers. These sessions/programs are designed so that the golfer can easily understand the basic set up techniques for all 4 parts of the short game. Not only will technique and shot making be taught but he will also take you through how to use your equipment properly and give advice on new technology that will take shots off your score on and around the greens. He has specific drills and practice plans that can be customised to suit your style of learning.
